🚀 AI Update: Supercharging ChatGPT, Video Translation and Google's AI Search Revolution! 🤖

Google's new AI search has people divided, what do you think about it?

Happy Sunday! Prepare yourselves for another exciting dive into the world of AI.

In this issue, we’re talking about new ChatGPT features including Browsing, plugins, and how you might use them to save you time. An up-and-coming AI video translation tool to reach an even wider audience, and Google’s new search AI ruining web traffic.

OpenAI Makes Waves with New Beta Features 🌐

OpenAI, on May 12th, announced via Twitter that they're rolling out web browsing and Plugins to all ChatGPT Plus users over the next week!

This upgrade moves these features from alpha to beta, empowering ChatGPT to access the internet and over 70+ third-party plugins. I’m thrilled about the limitless potential this brings!

Joe Davies, for example, utilized ChatGPT with browsing to scout websites for guest post opportunities, fetch submission guidelines, and even draft outreach emails - the possibilities are staggering!

Additionally, you get access to handy ChatGPT plugins that integrate seamlessly into your daily tasks. Jas Singh shared an impressive list of 24 different plugins and their applications. My personal favorite? The one-word domains plugin - describe your business to ChatGPT, and voila, you get a one-word domain suggestion!

AI Video Translation: Expanding Your Reach 🌍

Remember that conversation between Mr.Beast and Joe Rogan where Mr.Beast advocated for content dubbing to engage with a larger audience?

Well, it’s a strategy I wholeheartedly agree with! Why not extend it to your training and support videos, webinars, and all other video content?

The next logical question is, "How to go about video translations?" LingoSync AI, with its impressive dubbing quality, might be the solution you're looking for.

Their AI-generated dubbing sounds authentic and should be more than enough for most use cases. Get in line for their waitlist to gain access to their platform. Link to Website

Google's AI Search Revolution 🧭

The AI world is buzzing with Google's latest announcement - the AI-assisted search. Aimed at refining search results based on user queries, this feature has ignited a lively discussion on its potential implications.

This new feature, however, has received mixed reviews. Some hail it as a revolutionary step in search engine optimization, while others express concerns about its impact on web traffic. One such voice of concern is Rutledge Daugette, CEO of TechRaptor, who shared his apprehensions with CNBC.

However, in my opinion, this new search feature is a giant leap forward. It’s not just about the utility; it’s also about the potential transformation in how we perceive search engine results. I believe the change might not be as destructive as some predict.

I find myself in good company with this viewpoint. Barry Schwartz echoed a similar sentiment on Twitter, suggesting that Google’s update seems more about incentivizing clicks rather than eliminating them from search.

In fact, the new search layout, which presents thumbnails and website links that best answer the query, can be seen as a move towards better optimization. This could potentially lead to more clicks, provided you focus on the right optimizations.

Ross Hudgens, in his LinkedIn post, shared some insightful tips on what areas to concentrate on with this new development.

This change is indeed a significant milestone, and we have OpenAI to thank for inspiring Google to make meaningful improvements to its search engine. The world of AI continues to evolve, and we're right here, keeping pace with every stride.

Let's embrace this change and see where this journey takes us. Exciting times ahead, don't you think?

🚀 That’s all folks! 🤖

Quick Note about today’s issue, everything that I “wrote” in today’s issue was run through ChatGPT with the prompt that I provided in Friday’s issue. 😛

What did you think of the output? I plan on fine-tuning the prompt process to make it sound more like me, but it’s not a bad first attempt.

What do you think?
